Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape comfortably horizontal across shoulder blades and under arms.
Measure around the narrowest point of your torso (typically 1 to 2 inches above the belly button). Keep one finger between tape and body for breathing room.
Stand with heels together and measure around the fullest point of your hips and glutes, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Bend your elbow slightly. Measure from the center back of your neck base, along the outer shoulder, past the elbow down to the wrist bone.
Measure from the innermost crotch seam down the inner leg to the bottom hem where the trouser breaks over shoes. Alternatively, measure a pair of well-fitting pants laid flat.
